Accommodations

UC Santa Barbara is eight miles north of downtown Santa Barbara in the suburb of Goleta. Accommodations are available near the campus or in the downtown or beach areas. A block of rooms and special rates are arranged at these hotels:

  • Best Western Pepper Tree Inn, 1-800-338-0030, $109/night, Sunday–Thursday. Reserve by May 12

You must refer to UCSB Extension’s Infrared Conference when making reservations. We strongly recommend you make your room reservations as early as possible. Unfortunately, none of the hotels with special room reservations for our participants offer any shuttle service to UCSB; renting a car is advised. The climate in June is mild with temperatures in the 70’s.
